Josie Maran is the pioneer of clean, oil-powered beauty. The first to champion the natural potency of pure oils, she is now the leading innovator in clean beauty. Sourced from a UNESCO-protected region in Morocco, 100% Pure Argan Oil is the center of the brand —from skin-transforming products to the collaboration with women’s co-ops and Earth-first sustainability platform.
In 2019, I was brought on to pivot the overall brand and modernize the customer experience. I was tasked to elevate packaging, build out 360 campaign process, redesign the ecomm and update the in-store experience at Sephora and Ulta. I also built out a talented in-house creative team that handles all photo shoots, social media, video, advertising, packaging, and brand design. Under my leadership the brand has seen exponential growth during the pandemic, seen multiple record breaking 360 product launches, and expanded into several new retail partnerships.
